Carrots
Toss in oil and lightly salt
Roast @ 425 for 45 minutes
Add glaze and sliced almonds (for added crunch) and continue roasting for a few minutes then turn off and prepare serving dish with yogurt
top with carrots and finish with remaining zaatar glaze and garnish of your choice or herbs nuts or nothin
Glaze
Heat a 1/2 cup honey in a pan with 2 tablespoons of water and a lil bit of white wine vinegar, stir in 1 tablespoon harissa paste or chili powder/paprika/garlic medley of your choosing, add golden raisins and cook on low heat until plump. remove and cool
Yogurt/Labne
If you havee Labne at your grocery store, Geet that, if not, thick full fat greek yogurt is a passable alternative container of labneh or in a pinch nonfat Greek yogurt
Stir olive oil, 4 cloves grated garlic, and a generous pinch of salt into 8-12oz yogurt base, if using Greek yogurt do not skimp on EVVO
- Carrots with nduja crumble and carrot top gremolata
- Pickled rainbow carrots
- Mascarpone or yogurt
